Frequently asked questions
What equipment do I need?
A computer or tablet with a webcam and a barcode scanner, or just a phone. Recco runs in the browser, so there's nothing special to install.
Does it need to connect to Shopee, Tokopedia or other marketplaces?
No. Recco deliberately doesn't depend on any marketplace. Just scan the barcode on the label, from any platform, including offline sales.
What if the internet goes down?
Recording continues and is stored on the device. As soon as the connection returns, the videos upload automatically.
How long are videos kept?
Each plan has a storage quota. When it's full, the oldest videos are removed automatically. Videos tied to an open complaint can be locked so they're never removed.
Can the Recco team watch my videos?
Not casually. We can only play a video with a stated reason, for a limited time, and every access is logged in your account.
Will marketplaces always accept Recco videos?
Recco gives you clear, verifiable proof of what happened at the packing bench. The final decision rests with the marketplace, but tidy evidence puts you in a much stronger position.
