Terms of Service

The rules for using Recco: accounts, subscriptions, payment, your data, and liability.

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. The service

Recco is a web service that records packing and return-receiving videos, links them to shipping labels (AWB), stores them, and lets you share them as evidence. By creating an account or using Recco you accept these Terms on behalf of your business (the "Customer").

2. Accounts and users

The account Owner is responsible for all users, stations and activity in the organization, including keeping passwords, operator PINs and station pairing codes confidential.

Provide accurate information and tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.

3. Trial, subscriptions and payment

New organizations get a 14-day trial with no card. After the trial, the service continues only on a paid monthly or yearly subscription for the chosen plan.

Renewal invoices are issued 7 days before the period ends and can be paid by QRIS, virtual account, e-wallet or card through our payment partner (Xendit).

If an invoice is unpaid after its due date, recording continues for 7 days (past due), then 7 days of grace without new evidence links, after which the account is suspended (stations cannot record) until paid. Accounts suspended for more than 30 days end.

Scans above the plan allowance never stop recording and are billed on the next invoice at the published rate. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, effective at the next renewal.

Prices exclude any applicable taxes.

4. Your data and videos

Videos, metadata and other content you upload remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, under the Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Videos are kept for the plan's retention period (default: packing 70 days, returns 7 days) or until the storage quota is full, then deleted automatically. Videos that are evidence in an open claim or an active share link are kept while needed. On plans with local storage mode, videos stay on your station device and are uploaded only when requested.

You are responsible for making recording at your premises lawful, including informing staff that the packing area is recorded.

5. Prohibited use

Do not use Recco to record beyond shipping/returns operations, upload unlawful content, attempt to access other organizations' data, load- or security-test without written permission, or resell the service without an agreement with us.

6. Evidence integrity

Recco records a SHA-256 hash of each video and issues a digitally signed certificate. The certificate proves the file is unchanged since the server received it and when it was received; Recco does not guarantee decisions by marketplaces, couriers or others on your claims.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available at all times and announce scheduled maintenance in the console. Stations keep recording when the internet drops and upload automatically once reconnected.

Support is by WhatsApp and email. Our team sees metadata only; playing your videos requires your permission, except emergency access which is notified to you immediately and logged.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or the outcome of claims against third parties.

9. Cancellation and deletion

You may cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period. After a subscription ends or a trial expires, data can be exported for 30 days and is then permanently deleted. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes are announced at least 14 days in advance by email or in the console. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first resolved amicably.
